Through fully supported, restful postures, stillness, and unhurried pacing, foundational restorative yoga principles are paired with the qualities of yin—patience, deep listening, and ease. Rather than focusing on stretch or effort, the practice emphasizes nourishment and attunement, allowing the nervous system to soften and settle.
