Registration + Getting Here

  • 2 E Market St, Suite D, in the Village of Cheshire in Black Mountain, NC, directly above Beradu.

The entrance is next to the parking lot behind Beradu, clearly marked with a Yoga Center of Black Mountain sign. After passing under the sign, enter through the door on your right and head up the stairs to the second floor. The building is not equipped with an elevator.

  • Parking is available in the lot behind Beradu, right next to our entrance. Additional parking can be found on the street across from the building on Highway 9 and in front of the building, near Temple Chiropractic and Sake Sushi.

  • We want your experience to be safe, enjoyable, and supportive! Please arrive 10 minutes early, bring a yoga mat if you have one (props are provided), and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Yoga is practiced barefoot, and we ask that you respect the studio space by keeping it clean and mindful of others. If you have any injuries, medical conditions, or special needs, let your teacher know so we can offer modifications.

  • Booking a class is easy! You can reserve your spot online through our website or the Mindbody app. We recommend signing up ahead of time, especially for popular classes or workshops, to reserve your spot. If plans change, please cancel in advance so another student can join.

Studio Policies

    • Pre-register through the Mindbody app or website to reserve your spot.

    • Arrive at least 10 minutes early to settle in. Entry doors are locked when class begins, making it challenging to accommodate late arrivals.

    • If you're unable to attend, please cancel your reservation in the Mindbody app. This allows us to accommodate another student in the class.

  • We ask that all phones be silenced upon arrival. Our studio is a space for presence, rest, and focused practice—please help maintain that by keeping devices tucked away during class.

  • For classes, please cancel prior to the start of class to avoid losing your class credit.

For workshops and special events, cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance receive full credit toward a future event; no refunds or credits are given after that window.

  • Your safety comes first! In the event of severe weather, classes may be canceled. Updates will be posted on our online schedule and social media. Registered students will also receive an email notification if their class is affected.

  • We offer a variety of classes, from dynamic and flowing, to restful and rejuvenating. Each class is thoughtfully designed to balance movement, breath, and mindfulness.

  • Not at all! Our classes are open to all levels. Teachers always offer options and modifications so you can practice in a way that feels right for your body. You are welcome here.

  • Most students bring a yoga mat and a water bottle. We provide yoga props to be used during class, and have mats available, if needed.

  • Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. Options include leggings, joggers, or shorts and tank tops or t-shirts. Avoid clothing that is restrictive, sheer, or includes buttons or zippers.

Yoga is practiced barefoot, so shoes are not needed in class.

  • Classes like Refined Flow, Strong + Slow Flow and Vinyasa Flow are a great fit. These styles use mindful movement, longer holds, and weight-bearing postures to help you develop both physical strength and stability over time.

  • For calming the mind and soothing the body, try Yin Yoga, Deep Release, or Gentle Restorative. These slower practices use props, gentle postures, and breathwork to quiet the nervous system, reduce stress, and leave you feeling deeply refreshed.
